42:01Why Would God Create Two Trillion Galaxies? | Richard Feynman
Despite the title, Richard Feynman never speaks in this video and his name is never said in 42 minutes of narration. What it actually is: an unnamed narrator reading a modern script over stock cosmology footage, running the fine tuning argument end to end. The chain is age forces size (14 billion years of expansion forces tens of billions of light years of diameter, because heavy elements need generations of stars), then the fine tuned constants, then three options (designer, deeper law, or multiverse lottery), then eternal inflation, then the Boltzmann brain paradox the multiverse creates, escaped with an entropy argument. The payoff is the title's answer: the two trillion galaxies are the cosmic receipt proving your reality is not a one second hallucination. Good reasoning, borrowed wholesale from Boltzmann, Carter, Guth, Linde, Vilenkin, Leslie and Susskind, none of whom are named.
